How do I count the 3 days in a 3-day notice?

An expedited eviction process is allowed when a tenant has not paid rent.  The 3-day eviction Notice must allow the tenant to pay rent in three days or vacate.  It cannot require a tenant to both pay and to vacate in three days. 

Wait three (3) days after service.  Note:  When counting the 3 days, you would NOT INCLUDE the day the tenant received the notice but you would INCLUDE weekends or legal holidays.
